so i decided to do some tank work sunday night and i needed to take out my mini carpets because im getting rid of them. so i have a lot and when trying to get one off the rock he completly tore apart! i felt bad but i have like 7 so i didnt mind the loss and kept on working. i gathered them together and then moved my rocks around and did a water change. everything normally. well i checked on it yesterday and my montis are completly white and dead looking and my serpeant start dropped all his legs !:eek1: i dont kno what happened. did that one little mini carpet (even after the water change) release that much toxins?? im freaking out and quite sad about my star! plus my montis were looking awesome! my zoas were closed but the rest looked fine. my fish and shrimp were fine. im running two bags of carbon and kinda just waiting it out. do you think my star will make it even though he has no legs? help!
