So, my LFS helped set-up my sump and it clearly needs to be re-worked (it turns out that flushing sound coming from the pipes was actually the sound of cash going down the drain via the LFS dude).

-I plan on adding a few acrylic baffels to remove microbubblkes. This is to be cut at Lowe's and placed in the running sump using weather stripping. Think this'll work?
-I have a bunch of rock in the sump which I think will just catch a bunch of debride and rot. I think this needs to go, but I am concerned about not having enough rock for filtration. Thoughts on this?
-I plan on elevating the skimmer with egg crate.
-Building ATO today also with Tunze osmo. To be added next week.
-pads under each pump to silence them.
-take that massive bunch of wires and add DJ power strip today.
-I like the idea of keeping the filter pad potential (on the upper right of the sump) and creating a diverting valve to occasianlly use this for water polishing.

Really I think I need help with the rock issuse as I now have crud all over the bottom of the sump. All suggestions are welcome.

Here are pictures of the current sump and DT.
