Hi everyone,

Im researching my livestock before I buy and I'm planning to get a yellow watchman goby as my first fish and possibly eventually a Tiger Pistol Shrimp. My question is this: are they safe for 20 gallon tanks or will they eat my entire clean up crew: snails, hermits, shrimp?? What about fish?

They are fine. Most you'll see em do is pop hermits for walkin across his entrance. Ive never lost anything to a pistol. Lotta hype over nothing imo.

Tiger pistol's get significantly larger than my Radall's, if I remember right. My pistol doesn't bother anything. Just spends his time moving around sand and "designing" his burrow.

tigers get big i've lost a few emerald crabs to mine but my red banded hasn't hurt a thing
20 gallon should be fine i have a yellow + red band in a 10 gallon no troubles
