i want bright yellow polyps.

i bought yellow polyps at shop but turned out as brown color in my tank.

The yellow is not bright, i think it's dark.

My question is that there are many species with diverse colors in yellow

polyps ?

Or the color can be changed by conditions for example light intensity, healthy state or pH ..... ?

What kind of lighting are you running? It may just be that you do not have enough blue spectrum lighting to get your colors to pop.

How strong light intensity the yellow polyps need?

My polyps are under white and bleu T5 just under the surface.

If light is not enough, the colour changes in brown ?

Yellow color looks always better under white light, not blue. Try to move them higher under the white bulb.

how old are your light tubes and what wattage are they ? could be that the lights arn't of the right spectrum for them ?
