Well, like others seem to be posting, I got a new camera for Christmas. These shots are really my first attempts at messing with the camera along with white-balance. Smallest resolution, so I know shooting in RAW at a larger resolution will help greatly too. I can tell its a great camera and Ive got a lot to learn... :spin2:
So any thoughts, comments, etc. are welcomed.

Camera: Canon Eos 500d T1i.
Settings: Macro (Closeup) on kit 18-55mm lens. Manual focus but all other settings were automatic.
Tank: 65g with 2x150w Radiums and 420nm actinic.

Now for the photos!

Gator, most of my SPS are still frags and nowhere near as yours. Can I just buy?

Hey, Im clearing out my frag rack this weekend. I will see if I can get a frag off of some of those pieces that grow at a different level near the middle. I'll put it on a disc and let you know how it goes. Ill let it encrust a little first.
I tried that once before and a poccillipora frag zapped it. :mad2:
so i know i need to clean the rack off.
I tried to send PM, but yours is full lol

Stunning setup gator  -- would be interested in your experience using Zeovit if you care to share. How long? Likes, dislikes? I'm doing prodibio now and have had good results, but it is a little pricey and I'm not too keen on the dose one ampoule today and you're good for 2 weeks, just seems like using blunt edge of an axe when you need a scaple.

Nice DOF. Lovely tank. Try playing with any dynamic range settings to tune in the shadows and highlights. Overall awesome pics. Congrats on the new camera
