So I've had my tomato Clownfish, for let say around five years or so. And recently, every time i put my hand in the tank she attempts to bite me. She swims full force straight at my hand. I was wondering if this is normal. It usually doesn't matter where in the tank my hand is either. I've heard of them being territorial, But Its even when I'm not in her nesting place.

She also had decided to start moving equipment around. Also wondering if this is normal. She Does have a mate who never bothers me.

There in a 75 gallon, She doesn't bother any of the other fish.

Yep all perfectly natural, especially a female Tomato clown. I think it is kinda cute.:fish2:

Aggressive behavior is very common with clownfish and especially with the larger species like tomatos and maroons.

Thank you,

I was just wondering if it is natural, And watching her move the heater is really funny.

I'd be checking for eggs too, very common for agression to increase when they are spawning.
Tomatoes are high up on the aggro list.
I find wearing a shiny watch makes them hit the watch, instead of my flesh.
My maroon drew blood easy, so the watch became standard procedure when diving in to tank.
