Hi Roger, i came home to a sump that was an inch below the sensor and the unit was showing a green light. Unit has been in service for two yrs in the current setup. I clean the sensor with a soft toothbrush and vinegar as needed. Its not cruddy at all, but still thinks the water level is correct. I have powered down the unit several times. On power up it shows amber and green and the pump runs for a short time and then the light goes green. Not sure on the age of the unit but it has been flawless up until now. The sensor appears to be hardwired to the controller, so i am guessing the whole thing needs replaced. I am capable of a solder repair if i could get a new sensor if that is the solution. Thanks in advance for your help. Mark

The sensor can be unsoldered from the controller and it sounds like a new sensor is all you need. I would open the controller and check it out first, it isn't that difficult but the wires are very small and you need a good needle tip iron to do the work.
