Where do you guys buy your filter floss?

For those who use filter floss, where do you buy yours? Online? LFS? Other store? I'd like some suggestions. :)

I buy pillow stuffing material ffrom JoAnns. Works great for me in my sump. Never had a problem with it & its cheap.

Same here....I even found dirt cheap pillows at the dollar store and ripped them open and used the stuffing.

I buy Quilt Batting at walmart. I like it because it comes in a sheet and in either Hi or Low pile (thickness). It really does a great job of catching the crud. Very inexpensive.

I was thinking about using the walmart quilt batting in my canister, would this impede its flow to much?

I use polyester batting. Super cheap like 4$ for a square yard.

Its all good. Just the shape it different. The hi pile looks to be in sheets. The other stuff is just a big clump. I didn't use the sheets but if that shape works for your application then use it. No need to rinse.
