By trading the 4 way, that would put it in the price bracket of the beginner pack at around $590 or so.
Keep the 4 way, learn the system and enjoy it and then in the future you can add a digital bar if required

· 1 x Temperature probe
· 1 x RS232 cable for p.c interfacing
· 1 x pH 7.0 and pH 9.0 calibrations

While this offer runs the economy pack is not available as obviously for the same price you get the digital 6 socket power bar.

Does the Economy 4-way power bar have dimming capabilities? I will be running LEDs...

The profiLux has dimming capabilities but you do not require this on the power bars, after reading your thread on the Ai section you are a bit confused and I can help you out.
as I wrote there
You do not need any plug sockets on the ProfiLux the whole Ai unit is controlled via the GHL/Ai cable which plugs into the RS232 socket on the back of the controller.
All units would react together, this is how Ai have programmed the lamps
