View Full Version : Pheonix 14k 175w Single End??

Has anyone used these yet? I need to get some new bulbs soon and was considering these.

I've been running 175w 15k XM's(\w mag ballasts) and no actinics for close to 5 years now, so I don't know what any other bulbs look like. I obviously like them, but lately their quality seems to be going down. My last two sets up bulbs have shifted color faster and faster with each set. Anyways i'm wanting something that's got that nice blue tint, but not a deep 20k blue.

I'm also up for any other suggestions.

I had 250w 14K Hamiltons on magnetic ballasts and it was a really nice crisp blue/white color.

Thanks for the pics! I like the color of those hamiltons. How long have you had them running. When they burned in, did you notice any color shift?

Anyone else out there?

That's pretty much the same color the bulbs maintained for the time I had them
