Red sea protein skimmer

I bought a 65 gal. tank that came with a Red sea prizm hob. skimmer ,and was wondering if they are any good?

They are not very good.. They are ok for maybe a 30gal buy not for a 65.

They are good to take a 12 gauge Winchester to :uzi:. They are inefficient, they leak, they are ugly, etc etc. it was the worst purchase of my reefkeeping career... I still have nightmares because of it:mad2:

Its great for now. But I would be starting a purchase list of the equipment that I will need to buy and set out and buy it. How bout listing what you have and what you would like to accomplish.

had a prism pro. would not recommend anyone purchase one. if it was free it may work untill you can get something else. sold mine & got octopus hob.did very good job would still have it, but i got sump & got a octo insump skimmer when i upgraded
