Bluest 150w 20k bulb

whats the bluest 20k MH bulb? Ive had phoenix bulbs for a while, but im looking for some more blue.

PAR isnt a huge issue, but the more PAR along with the color the better i guess

xm is the bluest but a little low on the par side

the PPFD is on manhatten reefs (sanjay testing). its at the very bottom of 150w but so is the ushio (BLV) 20k. I used that bulb anyway and corals grew fine. ushio 10k and AB 13k have over twice the PPFD as those but NONE of the 20k bulbs test well. Even the radium and Iwasaki 50k are down like 40% compared to the top 10k 150w. If your going for blue dont worry about the PAR. 20k bulbs seem to always perform better in actual practice then what the comparative numbers on paper would indicate.

by the way, the phoenix is going to be one of the bluest bulbs out there. More blue in them than most 20k's. I just switched to 20k Radium and it is not even close to the phoenix's blue. However it is way brighter

seems like i might as well stick with the phoenix, it seems to be the best of both worlds

jsut saying, but picture of bulbs with the lighting would be a great help for him i think.
even for me since i want to know whats the bluest you can get with halides

price vs. performance you just cant beat the phoenix for a bluer bulb.

phoenix 14k very blue, not too bright
radium 20k, almost white very little blue, very bright
