I was looking to supliment my t5s with some high power leds to get some of the shimmer back that i lost with switching from MH to t5. So a fellow club member said he saw 1 or 2 of the ecoxotic stunner led strips on somone's tank to suppliment their leds and it looked fantastic! well i went to buy some and for 1 foot strip it would be 67 dollars. I cant justify doing that when i can even add 2 more t5s to my cannopy with a ballast i already have for less than that. Anyone have ideas for a substitute that would be cheaper? Open to DIY too if thats the way to go.
