the reason I ask is because I recently (2 days ago) purchased the swissguard and I noticed that he will not come out of the rock works and he looks beat up. which one of my fish do you believe is bullying my swissguard and will they calm down or will I have to end up having to remove on the them

Its the mandarin, always put them in last..But 11 with them size of fish are o.k.

I'm guessing it's your clowns. The only other possibility is your blenny, but I have no idea what type yours is, as I've never heard of that common name before. Also, keep in mind swiss guards are pretty secretive and it may take them quite a while to become comfortable and come out from the rockwork. If it isn't actually being actively picked on right now then the aggression may have already passed and I would just keep an eye on him and not worry about removing any fish.

Definitely not the mandarin, most likely the clowns. They can be vicious once sexually mature.

I'd agree with the clowns too. Mine can get mean to fish that go in their corner. Nothing else on that list seams to be an agressive species.

I also think you are fine on your stocking level. As far as the aggression I also think the clowns (or more likely the female clown) is the prime suspect but I once had a blenny become very aggressive with any fish that came into his tank after he was established.

Have you determined which fish is beating up the swissguard? This is your first step, it might take a while to determine the culprit especially if the swisssguard is constantly hiding. You can remove the aggressor or the recipient of the abuse, you can divide the tank with eggcrate (with small fish eggcrate may need a smaller mesh attached to it), I have used the divider method with some success. Sometimes redoing the rockwork will break up old territories and give newcomers a chance to establish a territory (this has been hit and miss with me). You can also give the aggressor a time out by removing it for a time, I have also had some success with this method. If you cannot tell who is beating the swissguard up it is probably best to remove it before it is killed.

Swissgaurds are gonna spend a lot of time in the rocks even if no one is bothering it.

Amen to that. All basslets do that.

However if it is the clowns, you can remove them or the basslet. Your choice.

clowns can be very aggressive and mean to say the least..i would also be worried about all of those pod consuming fish in a 90 gallon!!-Drew

My pair of GSM clowns are only aggressive towards me...leave the other fish alone! The swiss gaurds do hide a lot. Id consider a assessor. I have a pair of Yellows that I love. They are now going to be more common since ORA is breeding them again. Great fish always swimming upside down under overhangss

X10 to that. It's probably your clowns...and if you ask me you're stocklist is fine. You can have 2 fish in the tank and they can fight.
