just got a diamond goby Saturday and hes stirred up the sand pretty bad which is what i expected and wanted, but i noticed that about half the time hes picking stuff off of rocks. i didnt really think they picked around on the rockwork very much, but this one does. at first i didnt really think much of it but ive been thinking maybe theres not enough food in the sandbed and hes looking for more? he eats mysis/brine/cyclopees with the other fish.

I would not worry to much about him. If he is eating with the other fish, he is sure to get enough. He maybe picking pods off the rocks.

Mine used to do that, as well as make a mess of the sand. He also loved to swim North, until the flame angel would chase him back down where he belonged! One of my favorite fish.
