Well I did something stupid. I dropped my brand new Octopus Recirculating Skimmer on my tile floor and well, the floor won. The thing just slid through my fingers!
The skimmer suffered one long crack by one of the pumps, as well as a small, penny sized piece of acrylic completely breaking off. It was a very clean break however.
My question is, my husband was saying something about some sort of acrylic "glue" that actually can re-bond the material together? It supposedly semi-melts the acrylic where it's applied, and then hardens. Does anyone know what this is, or have any suggestions on what to use to fix it?
I really want to fix it if possible! I don't care if it looks pretty lol! Thanks for any ideas!
