Way less. They do not rely on light like other corals. They are non-photosynthetic

You can keep dendros in complete shaded area,they don't need light to survive,just need to be spot fed every other day.Just like sun corals. HTH

You can actually place them just about anywhere, although they do not need light, it will not bother them either. Just make sure you keep them well fed.

Hey Jake what are you feeding your dendros? Are those the dendros from the last meeting? Funny story on those the night I got mine I put them a little too close to a hammer frag I also got. Woke up at that night and the hammer had pulled the dendro over to it and was starting to eat it(the dendro was about 6 inches away from it). But it didn't seem to hurt it too bad it opened up a couple of days later. Scared me though.
