im trying to find the cheapest metal halide ballasts possible, i found 250 watt metal halide lights that are used for $25 and are the 3 components setup with the coil etc, but by the time i build the case with a fan, wiring etc it might not be worth it if i can get a magnetic ballast for $50, a long time ago i used iwasaki bulbs with $25 mercury vapor ballasts but are no longer available as they have banned mercury vapor ....
