Photo Period, SPS????

Have 2 250w 14k and 2 54w t5 actinics, over a 75g, wat do you think is a good photoperiod to setup ??? Have sps and lps.

6-8 hours on the halides I would say. You can start the actinics an hour before and shut them off an hour after your halides as well for a morning/evening effect if you like as well.

I run my halides for 6 hours. I would run your T5's an hour before and after as well. Pretty much what lord just said.

btw, what brand of 14k mh and actinics are you using?

i am using 14k hamilton but i want to swithc to 14 pheonix.

14K Phoenix bulbs are great IMO. I run my halides for 7 hours on one tank and 8 on the other

FWIW I've been using Phoenix 14K for years. Love them!!! Tried to switch....came crawling back :lol:
