Here's what happened... the spouse decided to turn both the hot and cold tap on the RO/DI on me for whatever reason I don't konw... I turned it off about 4 hours it had been on - turned off the cold, not knowing the hot was even on! Sooo just straight hot was running through it for about 30 minutes. Did I just toast the membrane?
Before everything coming out was 0 tds now its:
2 tds out of the RO
0 tds out of the DI
and 190 tds from the waste line.
I did flush it with cold water to bring the unit down in temp because the plastic was hot to the touch.
Please help me out and if I should dump this bath of RO/DI (that is 0 tds) and if I need to buy a new membrane (or new filters/DI resin too).
