Anyone know if the outside magnet for the Koralia 3 pump(the one designed to be placed outside an aquarium) is safe for use inside the tank? The reason I ask is I want to place one inside my sump but it would require the outside magnet to be submerged. Has anyone done this without any ill effects? The magnet appears to be the same on both sides(the one inside and outside the tank) so I don't think it would cause issues. Thanks for the advise!

I had a K3 magnet inside the tank on my aquapod. I had the magnet in the back filter section. I never had any problems

they're made for that in the case you'd want to mount it on your overflow wall

+1 I used one in my biocube long ago. A lot of people also mount them in the overflows.
