Kinda of a silly question but if you were to add more flow into your tank would that make your fish more muscular ?
Since they're trying harder to swim ?

In the wild they are exposed to tremendous amounts of flow. I don't know if we(well, most of us anyway) even have enough flow to begin to replicate what it's like in their natural habitat. So I'm going to have to say probably not. Unless you add a really strong powerhead that is constantly on full power and the fish keep trying to swim against the current. If that were the case then I would say you have a really bored fish, lol. :D

I think if you added more flow you'd need to feed your fish more. I don't know if it would make them "stronger".

It depends on the species as some fish are a lot better adapted to handling high current than others.

It would provide more oxygen to the water making them healthier

I have two MJ1200 mods in my 110g peninsula FOWLR. My only complaint about this is that it is not very "soothing" to watch the fish swim that hard. :p I'm thinking of removing one MJ.
