Weird readings...

Im a little confused on my readings. My alk/dkh is at 11. My ph is 8.3 but my calcium is reading 650! I thought if calcium was high that would be an indication of low alk/ph.

Is the test accurate? I have heard of calcium tests that over exaggerate, which kit are you using?

it is possible. I know someone here in jersey that has had his calcium up over 800 for about 6 years now. He has tried everything to get it down, even to the point of finding the lowest calcium content salt on the market and doing a 100 gallon water change on a 220 gallon set-up. Did NOTHING. His alk is 10 or 11, ph 8.9(also can't get that down). His fish and corals LOVE IT! I don't know what the cause is, but i have heard of such high calcium is all I am saying.
