"April Fresh"

Each Night we all Have Our Rituals when it applies to our tanks.......So I grab my top off water and promptly add 2 gallons.....I add another gallon or so to my 20 gallon tub of fresh made saltwater .....and Immediately see bubbles........I look and think ...hmm thats odd....... I then look at where said top off bucket was and plunge my hand in the water.....and smell.......APRIL FRESH!!!!! I run over to my tank and look and see visions of "The Flintstones" Laundry Bubble episode .....cause My Refuge is filling with bubbles........ HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!!!!
I immediately call 2 people .....Cato and Gillundr.........If it were not for these 2 guys....I probably would have lost my kool...... Through their guidance and help I sit here with crossed fingers ...... Roman (Gillundr) ran over with 20 Gallons of ready made water........and proceeded to help me perform an emergency water change ......He stayed till late last night and made sure all was well..(and I didn't KILL Deirdre)..Cato ....Lent me his wisdom and knowledge .....and talked me down from the edge....

I'm not just posting this to Publicly thank these guys......But to Lend a Word OF Advice...... Most of Us have Our RODI in our laundry rooms.....as do I ....As I looked to see how this happened I noticed that the bottle of 3x strength ALL was above the bucket and leaning but closed ..... The residue had run down the bottle and into my top off water....... PLEASE DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE....... Remove any soaps or chemicals from ANYWHERE YOU HAVE AQUARIUM STUFF

I will be changing about 2 lbs of carbon in my tank as well as another 20 gallons.....and I know I am Far From Out Of the Woods.....

I do know I will never smell clean clothes the same way ever again.....

I've got 20 gallon of saltwater ready to go...you are welcome to stop by and pick it up (just bring containers without laundry soap in them). I was going to do a water change tonight, but I will wait to hear from you first.

Right Now Im ok ......I have a fresh 20 gal made up and am gonna do another water change and swap out carbon........Ill give a hollar if anything Guys ........Thanks for the support

Sounds good...I hold of doing the water change until tomorrow morning, so if you need some water tonight just give me a call (I'll PM you my number in case you don't have it anymore).

I am sure it was a site I can only imagine the bubbles coming from Brian's ears , mixed with steam:furious: I hope things are cleaned up(LOL) couldn't resist that one.
