I need a few recommendations for a CL pump in the 900-1000gph range. I've done a lot of reading and it seems like the highly recommended pumps push WAY too much water for my setup.

Noise is a concern, as is heat. Will pay a little more to get the right pump the first time, but not crazy about the idea of paying $350 for a pump at this point.

Any suggestions?

I was leaning towards an Eheim 1262, but I'd like a little more flow.
I've looked at little giants, panworlds, ocean runners, and quiet ones, but don't know much about them.
TIA.

I'm thinking about the velocity/poseidon pumps. I read about how quiet they are, about how reliable they are, and about the ~3* of heat they add. I figure that's probably not all that different than the submerged mag 9.5 I'm using now.

Are they made by the same company? They look the same, appear to be spec'd the same...

I am using eheim 1262 for my new closed loop system. Eheim are super quiet and don't produce much heat
