Foam?

quick question need to know how thick foam should be under tank?.....Thanks

What size is the tank? Just get the regular pink or blue foam. I've only seen it in one size.

100 gallon tank. My Home Depot had inch and half inch thickness.

Unless its an acrylic tank, I don't think using foam is recommended.

I think just a thin styrofoam is necessary it is just so that if the stand isnt perfectly flat it doesnt create any stress points on the tank. I am just going to put half inch under my new tank

Only put foam under rimless tanks. Reread the first sentence. Do not put foam under a tank with rim/trim, you can cause undue stress and have water everywhere.

uh oh, well I just used a couple fold over towels for mine, maybe i shouldnt have done that O_o
