I've just purchased 3 used MP40w gen 2 pumps. When I get them what should I look for to make sure they are good to go? What usually has an issue? What is usually messed up if someone installed them wrong or ran them out of alignment for a long time?

I can't wait for the brown truck so I can play with my new toy! These will be replacing some Tunze's.

I'd look for bent pins on the pin spacer, ensure the wet side can spin freely and is free of any defects such as cracks. The dry side should be free of salt build up or rust. That's about it, just set it up and ensure it works, so long as it does you'll be ok. There are also videos at our website that you may wish to familiarize yourself with just to be sure.
