Vortech MP40 software upgrade.

I got a Vortech MP40 pump that only has 4 modes, is there a way I could add the Long pulse mode (PINK)?

No wonder why I didnt find the night mode on my MP40 pump, I got an older version manual, software and pump. Is there any way I could add the nightmode to my vortech/

Thats a gen1 MP40W. You can upgrade it to gen2 flash by flashing it from any other gen2 mp40W. Your best shot is either going by a place locally that sells them or check with aq reefclub in your area someone isx bound to have 1.

Also both of mine are gen2 wetsides but gen1 flash. Nightmode does nothing for me since I feed the corals at night and want reef crest then as well. And both long and short pulse tend to make the motor run hot.

I know someone local with a 2 month old pump, it should have the new software then.

how do I flash my vortech with the new one?
