Green Slimer,
Almost any pocillipora, almost so that they can be a pest as bad as kenya tree or aptaisia as far as spreading.
Green digita
birdsnest green or pink. (my Pink hystrix has started to grow like a weed now that's it's a colony.
In the plating the purple, reddish orange and green monti plates in that order fastest to slowest.

If you were looking for fast those would be the top ones that come to mind.

Haha that's funny.

i don't know how many times i have been asked by my GF, "how much does it cost to keep a bunch of rocks in water?" :worried:

Honey it takes time... :spin2:

but now I've heard her brag about it. When one of her friends came over and asked, "wow are those real? is that all alive? its beautiful."

My GF, "oh yes every thing in the tank is alive, including the rock and sand, thats one of the most important parts you know."

her friend, "wow it must take a lot of work?"

My GF, "Nah it pretty much takes care of it self."

:strange: oh well at least shes not calling it "the rock pile" any more :lmao:

Yeah it's nice when it gets to the point where they don't complain (as much) about it and don't think it is such a complette waste of time.

WOW nice growth boodle.

I think it just depends on how healthy and placement of you corals. I have some that are very slow growers and some that are pretty fast.

Thanks Crazyc, i agree that placement and health are major contributors to sps/ acro growth speeds, i also think the maturity of the tank/ system is important, the older my tank gets the better everything grows even new frags.

for me ORA roscoes blue grows really fast. valida also grows pretty fast. my ORA turquoise stag didn't start off growing that fast but lately its giving everything a run for the money. keep in mind I only use 150w 20kish bulbs. I have a few other sps that grow well but they arent acros ;)

and for pics (I took the time to word them for your convienience :lolspin: )
not sure of the time frame but the tanks only been up 1.5yrs and I waited 5 or 6 months before I got my first sps (the turquoise). everything else came after that

great growth stanlalee, your pics should have meta data tags that tell you when you originally took the picture. that way you know how long between pics.

question~ how big is your DT and total water system?

thanks! its just a standard 30gallon long (36"x12"x16") with 10g sump. would still like to upgrade to 250wx2 or at least upgrade from the sunpod 150wx2 to a pair of lumen max 3s at some point. in real time seems like growth sucks but going back I feel a little better now.
