I recently got one of each of the three types of "neon gobies" from ORA. I have kept Gobiosoma oceanops before, but never in a group or pair. How easy are these fish to breed? Whats the average lifespan for these fish? They are all in QT right now and are eating flakes; but show no interest to the frozen foods I feed to the rest of my fish. They seem to like Cyclops flakes and crushed NLS. Is it common for CB fish to not accept frozen foods? Please share your experiences and photos of these little fish.

IME it is common for some of ORA's fish to be strict flake eaters, at least for a while. My first marine fish was (and still is) an ORA ocellaris clown, and it use to frustrate me to no end that it had all this wonderful frozen food available to it, and the only thing that it would eat were goldfish flakes! Almost three years later and she is a bit more cosmopolitan in her dietary preferences.

When you say that you purchased one of each "type" -- I think that ORA breeds three different cleaner goby species. If you have one of each species (the "typical" blue neon, the yellow neon, and the sharknose, which has both blue and yellow on it) then I do not know if you have to worry about breeding -- I'm not sure if these gobies will hybridize or not.
