Painting the house effects on Reef Chemistry

Hi I was planning on painting the inside of the house with Latex paint, however, I wonder of this will affect the aquarium. Anyone have any experiences or knowledge ? Worried about the fumes ...

I've painted our house multiple times over the last two years, including the tank room this past week and have seen no difference in any tank params.

Some extra GAC in the tank may help absorb some of the solvents that get into the water. :)

does anyone know if latex paint will leech anything into the water and be harmful- i just noticed a retun pump has a small 2 inch section of latex paint- it's not currently in the tank, but i was planning on swaping it out.

One the can, does it say anything about antimildew ingredients or such?

If not, it is probably OK, but I'd personally remove it as the paint will likely peel off in the water.
