just picked up a mp10 for my ap24. I'd like to put it on the right side of the tank because of where my tank is in my room. However the overflow is also on the right. Would that cause particles not to make it through? Would the left side be a better placement? Basically asking does it affect overflow if it close to it?

If you can leave about 6" between the two you should be fine. I have a similar setup in my Solana and see no issues.
