View Full Version : Maybe a dumb question: Where do you buy silversides?

I'm looking to buy my nem a little treat to snack on and silversides seem to be the popular thing. He's a good 12" in diameter so hopefully this will help him (finally) split. So yeah, where would one buy some silversides?

Edit: only reason I ask is because shipping frozen food online is crazy expensive.

Does every fish store usually have them?

Pretty common frozen food in most pet stores including chain stores.

+ 1.....almost any LFS will have them, and large pet stores should also. After you defrost them in tank water, drain the cup.....dont dump the "defrosted" water into your tank

Every Petco has them
Cheap - I think a one pound flat, about 5 bucks
Just look in the frozen food fridge

Another place is local bait & tackle shops
