I've been working on a document to assist new users in getting their Apex setup and configured. It incorporates many of the common problems and solutions posted in this forum and was edited with the help of Ken (kenargo) and Russ (russm) and with the "blessings" of Neptune Systems.

You can download it from http://reeftech.webs.com

The current version will be kept there and when new releases are made, I'll post an announcement here.

Alan, this is beee-utiful!. I wish this had been there when I was getting started. I haven't read all the way through it but I am sure I'll learn new things as well. Great job!:thumbsup:

Nice job Alan. Just wanted to add the following comments:

a) the ?sdate=YYMMDD&days=n parameter also works for graphs

b) a section on the I/O connector and Breakout Box would be useful

c) a discussion on common programming issues such as OSC, Defer, Min Time, etc would be helpful

Those are planned for the next version, end of Feb. I wanted to get basic programming and setup first.

I just wanted to drop in and say thanks to you guys for putting this together. I've been living without the email function for months now and finally got it to work following the instructions.
Thanks again.

I'm glad to hear that. I've got a new version just about ready to post that includes more screen shots for clarification and much more on programming including a section on advanced programming methods, virtual outlets, etc. Hopefully sometime later this week.
