Hello all, I am still on the look out for a decent "group" fish for my 140G Cube that won't battle with my current occupants:

Male Bellus
Female Bellus
Two mated false percs
Lubbock's Wrasse

Future Fish
Hippo Tang
Blue Spot Jawfish
Group fish?

I took out a Solar wrasse a few weeks ago that was chasing the Lubbock's. I want a nice looking fish that will get along with the group. The Lubbock's likes to flash a lot but generally get's along with the others. Would a (Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis) longfin fairy group work? I have looked at cardinals, chromis, as a group fish but the cardinals are to sedentary for me and the chromis general consesus is that a group would kill each other off one by one. Looking for advice/suggestions....

I asked whether I could join my Lubbock's w/ my rubriventralis when I do my upgrade to a 93 gallon cube, and SDguy said that he thought the two should be okay together. I don't know how the group dynamic would affect things, though.

One chromis species that you might want to look into is the Vanderbilt chromis, C. vanderbilti. They aren't as readily available as some of the other species, but they are smaller and more peaceful. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a group when I purchased mine, but they are suitable for groups and they are very pretty fish (although not real flashy.)

Thanks Elysia, I made a long response but for some reason it did not show up anyway. Long story short I have heard conflicting stories on Vanderbilt Chromis, some people say they get a long fine other have said they got them and they killed each other off over time. So that is why I have been a little gun shy on them...

Thans,
Scott
