Dwarf Lion, need a skimmer?

I am thinking about puttting my DFL in a 30L with some CF lights, maybe a small leather, some star polyps, shrooms or other "easy" softies. Maybe another fish, not sure. If I do a 10-15% WC weekly do you think I'll need a skimmer? I am hoping to just throw a HOB Whisper filter or something on there. Am I asking for problems?

Skimmers are not obligate pieces of equipment, they are however safety nets.
Thats said- if you can keep up w/ the water changes and change out the large end(15%). You should be fine. Just keep an eye on the water quality via testing and look out for cyano algae growth and other indicators of high nutrients buildup- you should be fine
