Awesome, I've never seen one that small! How/where did you catch it?

Quite common in the florida straits. He was eating tiny shrimp and fish and I just dipped him up. I took a few pictures and put him back in. He went back to eating. Even this small they still ball bait and pick out the injured or slower ones. Very interesting to watch.

Very cool.
Ah, memories. I used to catch them in the estuaries in North Carolina while seining for shrimp a long time ago. Must have ridden the stream up

I didn't know you could find them in the back waters. I did catch one off the NC coast while flounder fishing. It was a full grown one.

Yea, not a lot but a few whenever we pulled a seine in the summer.
I've caught grown ones off Canaveral.

I did a lot of flounder fishing behind the beach and inlet of the Shallotte river, NC.

It's just a picture for you to look at. If you learn something I would consider that a bonus.
Thanks for looking and taking the time to post.

Now I know how I'll get rid of those damn chromis. Maybe I can charge admission to boot.

That would be cool, picking off chromis one by one.
