Dipping rics?

I'm thinking about purchasing some ricordia online for the first time sometime soon. Is it common to dip rics before putting them in the display? I have a QT set up and I thought I'd keep them in there for a couple weeks anyway keep an eye out for any nasty critters. So . . . should I dip them?

ric's usually dont come attached to anything (if you're buying a bunch of single polyps) but I did dip my floridias when I got them in last week with TMPCC. I asked the vendor what they recommending and they said they usually say not to dip but because I had TMPCC then might as well. I would dip.
