I am turning my 38 gallon tank into a refugium, the tank's dimensions are 36x12x16. I need advice for the height of the baffles/dividers, and if the attached drawing looks sufficient. I am open to any suggestions,

I would make the overflow section smaller by moving the baffle a little closer to the left side. Use the additional room for the return section as that is likely where you will notice the evaporation in the tank, depending on how your system is configured. I would make the baffles for the bubble trap all the same size and just raise the center one a couple of inches off of the bottom in the sump tank.

Take a look at some of the sump layouts on Marc's site http://www.melevsreef.com/allmysumps.html.

I based my sump on model "F" but there are plenty of suggestions there that could help you decide. Just make the baffles for the skimmer section the same height as the optimal water depth for your skimmer.
