Hats off to FAOIS

Recently had to make an unexpected move across the state. John offered to bag everything for me the night before I left, so I took 95% of all livestock to FAIOS, where they stayed until 7:30pm getting everything ready for the trip. Bags, boxes and all.

14.5 hours later, tank set back up and everything back in, and no losses, not a one!

Just wanted to say this on the forums what an outstanding crew they are.

It will be near impossible to find another crew with as much knowledge, understanding and willingness to help in a tough situation.

I may have moved 4 hours away, but rest assured, they will still receive business from me.

Shoot him an e-mail, danny. I buy dry goods from him just through e-mail, and he ships them to me right away. There is nobody that will come near his prices on dry goods!!

THANKS, by the way, for all the help lately, John and Jen, especially on the shipping stuff. I just don't have the time or desire to drive out there lately. Things are getting worse, so I'm sure I'll be needing more stuff shipped to me soon..

you moved to west palm didnt you? i lived over there for a few years and the stores are lacking to say the least. maybe something new has opened in the past 4 yrs since i left.

I would drive from Gainesville to FAOIS (over 3 hours) just to deal with the best store in Florida. I even worked at a LFS at the time who only dealt in saltwater coral/fish (1999). To this day there is no better store in All of Florida. I think everyone would agree they know how to operate a business the right way.

I moved to Jupiter, and so far, just 1 store. I had a friend pick me up 20g of pre-mixed water the day before I arrived here so I could replace any that I loss in the move.

I haven't had time to see if there's any other stores in the area, but I will find out soon I guess. But, I'll be watching for the FAOIS group buys, and get in on them just as I did with the APEX group buy.

I also want to say Thanks to Tcwayne. He let me borrow some equipment that was another reason that everything survived the trip. Between him and FAOIS, this tank move was a total success!
