I'm planning on building this sump for my 72G bowfront. It's a recycled 29G with 4 baffles. I tried to maximize the volume and that is why skimmer is HOB. Water drains from tank, into a sock filter, then gets skimmed, then goes to refugium, then gets returned to tank. Not shown are a GFO+Carbon reactors that will feed/return water from/to last chamber (return pump).
Both in and out plumbings will be done from back of tank for max top space (ease of maintenance). Max-Min water level is about 9 gallons, which should last for 2 weeks before refilling (In case I go on vacation). Will add ATO system later. Three drawings are views from front/side and top.
What do you think? Any major flaws?
