I randomly testing the calc and alk in my tank with no reason. Everything is doing great in the tank.
PH 8.35
CALC 360
ALK 400+ way off the charts!
What do I do to get the alk down to even the 200's? I tested twice and it took 20+ drops to turn the test tube yellow. What is going on?!?!

Try another test kit. I don't even think you would be able to see into your tank if the alk was that high.

It does seem abnormally high. I too would check it with another brand kit.
That said, the calcium should be brought up with calcium chloride, or just the calcium part of the two part. :)
