They've been acting like this all night and was wondering if in fact they are getting ready. They are biting at their rock and are very protective of it, moreso than they have been.

Sorry about the video quality, the actinics were on and I used my cell phone.

Well I would have answered my own question if I had just waited one more night. I woke up this morning and did my ritual and checked out the tank and I noticed that my clowns in fact DID lay eggs!

I am excited because I've had these guys since they were about 1" babies and this is the first time she's laid eggs. So now what? I know they wont live, but I was wondering what happens to the eggs now, do they just float away, do other inhabintants feed on them as well?

Just curious

You'll be able to see the eggs darken and the little baby eyes will become obvious as the eggs mature. Mine take about 10 days? to hatch. Hatching happens at night and I've never seen the fry float away.

Repeat process 4 days after hatching.
