Time to change out my bulb. Wondering if a change in k rating will produce any unwanted algae blooms. My tank is predominintly zoos and rics. I do run a fuge with chaeto. Any input would be greatly appreciated as it took me along time to get my reef to where it is today.

you should be fine, i would reduce your photoperiod for a week or two to allow your organisms to adjust to the increased PAR levels that result.

I just went from 20k back to 10k without a problem. I ran two out of three MH for a week to give the coral time to adjust.

Actinics are on for 10 hours and the mh is on for 8 in the middle. Should I reduce the mh for one hour on either end totalling 2 hrs or do I need to reduce the actionic also?

I'd just reduce the MH for two hours on the end of the cycle for a week and leave the actinics at 10 hrs and then reduce the MH for one hour for a week after that you should be good.
