A little background,
Just upgraded my 60g to a 220g just after charismas, my 60g was running for a year.
220g specs:
40g sump/fuge
200lbs live rock
220 and 60 coralife protein skimmer
Mag18 return
4 koralia 4 & 1 koralia 3
3 250W 10k metal halide and 8 39w T5 actinic

I set up the 220 added some base rock and a few pieces of LR from my 60.
After the cycle completed I transferred the live stock.
1 naso tang
1 yellow tang
1 diamond goby
2 percula clowns
2 blood shrimp
4 peppermint shrimp
1 algae blenny
40 hermits,
40 mixed snails
3 serpent stars

Everything was going great, then, BAM... it seemed like over night...CYANO everywhere. My water levels looked perfect.
So I started changing 40g of water twice a week, removing as much of the cyano as I could.
I added two more koralia 4's
I tried shutting the lights off for 3 day and wrapped the tank to block all light from entering.
Lowered the temp from 78 to 76.
Lessened my lighting to 4hours of MH 8hours of T5

My Plan of attack is to keep changing water aggressively and monitor.. And cross my fingers.
This has been going on for about 2-3 weeks now

Any suggestions would be apreciated.
