I'm about 4-5 months into the rehab of a coworkers tank. I got the 120 for free and most of the equipment, I've just been modifying it as I go. I'm actually off work today waiting for my birthday and Christmas presents to arrive from the divers den. So tomorrow I'll look a little fuller.

Hi,
That is an Acropora Millepora. It was originally green but has always taken on a yellowish color in my tank.

Here is an older picture closer up.

;) The 120 has been up for 3 months. I upgraded from a 75 in early Nov 2009. The original 75 was up a few years.

I did some damage to many corals in the transfer. Here is a Nov 2009 Pic a couple of days after transferring for comparison.

Froggy - Is the back of your tank painted? If so, could you provide brand and color code? Thanks.

Have you seen sonny's tank. its actually a 100 gallon, its custom made its 48X24 but i think only 20 instead of 24 tall.

http://www.rimlessreef.com/photo-gallery.html

He has a nice and long thread on here about his tank. He doses bacteria and vodka and does everything manually...he doesnt even have an automatic water top off!

Here is the thread. Its already split twice so its long..but I think well worth the effort.

yes, sonny has an amazing tank! I been through his thread a few times. It just blows me away how beautiful his tank is. I actually do all my dosing and top off manually also. i guess it gives me piece of mind, that im in control and i don't have to rely on dosers and ato and risk them failing. although im sure they are pretty reliable, i would just prefer doing it myself.

Not yet. I just have a cheap plastic background. I have always liked the deep medium blue backing and have not decided on the right paint color yet. For now, the plastic backing is the color I am aiming for.
