I recently set up a 20 gallon long. I'm planning to do a mixed reef mantis tank. SPS on the top, LPS midway, and softies on the sand. I initially got the LED PAR38 bulb, which I like, but it is very hard to take pictures under that light and I'm not able to have an actinic only look which I kind of miss.

So I'm looking for some other lighting options for my tank. The dimensions are 30x12x12. I want something that really pops flourescent and actinic wise as well as has good day light color.

I'm considering:

4 bulb T5HO (most likely TEK fixture)
single 150 watt MH (sunpod? or lumenarc)
2 or 4 bulb VHO (never tried these before, but always heard they have the best color actinics. I love that black light look)

Any suggestions? Also anyone have mods for placing a 24inch fixture on a 30 inch tank? I don't have a canopy.

Thanks in advance

another thing is it's hard to find a 30" fixture for t5HOs. One of the few I came across is Aquaticlife. Any opinions on this light?
