I have some old dead dry Fiji rock and I just got some BRS dry rock. I want to soak the rock in vinegar before I start the cooking process.
How much vinegar per 5 gal bucket of RO water should I use?

Hey,
I Think it isnīt a good idea! Iīve got a terrible feeling because of the vinegar. I Think it will be better, if you put it in clear saltwater.

What do you mean by "BRS"? I wouldn't use vinegar. Vinegar is used for diy rock to cure the portland cement in the mix. I would just cure the dead rock with some live rock in saltwater. The bacteria in the live rock will colonize the dead rock and consume the bad stuff.

It helps a lot! I think it's a 1/10 ratio
