I have a 10 bulb t-5 system over my 150 cube and I wanted to know the best bulb combination to use? At the moment I am using the following

4 actinic plus
6 Aquablue plus

I have about 15 acroporas and assorted monti's

I would put in 2 uvl actinic white's, and maybe a KZ fiji Purple.

On a side note, wow 10 bulbs! I hate paying to replace 4 haha.

+1 on the Actinic Whites. They really help make some colors stand out especially reds.

Is the KZ fiji purple similar to the UV actinic bulb or the 75.25 or indigo sun?

I would throw in 1 GE6500k and they are cheap too.

You should post in the Grim Reefers T-5 thread, seems like he knows everything about T-5 lighting...

We had a nice discussion in this thread about T5 lamp configurations. It beats skimming through the super long "official" T5 thread:

Here's my suggestions
Front
ATI Blue+
KZ Fiji Purple
ATI Blue+
GE 6500
ATI Blue+
ATI Aquablue
ATI Blue+
UVL Atinic White
ATI Blue+
ATI Blue+

The Fiji will bring out the pinks and reds, the GE will bring out the yellows. The blue + will bring out the greens, blues, purples.
