I just put my first feather duster into my tank and it did just fine overnight. Just now I checked on it, and my pistol shrimp had dragged its hind-end into its burrow and was, I assume, eating it. Now there is a bunch of slime in my water and some long, white antennae (from the duster, I assume). I immediately pulled it out of the burrow and gently placed the end under a rock to hopefully hid it from the shrimp. The worm seems fine- the crown is out like nothing happened. Has anyone ever had this happen? Should I expect the shrimp to keep going for it? Is the slime dangerous?
